The final piece of Rainbow Six Siege Year 2 content will be the South Korean-set Operation White Noise
Rainbow Six Siege is set to get one last piece of Year 2 content.
Operation White Noise, the fourth season of Rainbow Six Siege's second year, will close out the game's successful second year with a new map and new operators.
According to the team's brief news post on the upcoming content, we'll be getting two new operators from the 707th Special Mission Battalion in this batch of content. "The attacker is stubborn and daring while the defender is methodical and tenacious", apparently. A new GROM operative will also be joining the game, with Ubisoft inching closer and closer to that 100 operator figure they are after.
The new map will take us to an observation tower in Seoul, South Korea, way up in the air. Unfortunately no further details were revealed about the map, nor screenshots, so we'll just have to imagine all the hijinks we can get up to up there. New weapons will be added as well, but again, Ubisoft's staying fairly hush-hush on it all.
The second anniversary of Rainbow Six Siege isn't far away - it's December 1 - so theoretically this should all happen very soon. We'll update you when further details are released.
There are plans in place for Year 3 as well, although we're not sure what they are yet. It looks like Ubisoft will be actively supporting Rainbow Six Siege for some time yet.
