The Dragon Ball FighterZ story teaser trailer doesn't reveal much, but looks amazing
Dragon Ball FighterZ continues to generate hype with its new story trailer.
The upcoming Dragon Ball fighting game, which is loads of fun to play, is getting a story mode that showcases a brand new character, Android 21. She's shown off in this story trailer, alongside Goku, Vegeta, and a whole cast of faithfully recreated friends and foes.
At the start of the trailer we see what look like evil clones of our heroes - multiple versions of Goku, Vegeta, Piccolo, and Krillin walk through a destroyed city. It's reminiscent of Dragon Ball Super's Future Trunks arc, except that this Evil Goku seems to have maintained a standard Super Saiyan form (the hair is maybe lighter than usual, but it's not pink).
The rest of the trailer is made up of numerous short shots, wherein we meet Android 21 (a rare original female character in the Dragon Ball universe), see series villains Freiza and Cell looking suitably evil, and - ominiously - see several of our favourite characters (and Yamcha) passed out.
Hopefully this will be a fairly rich story mode that will please fans of the show and manga. Dragon Ball FighterZ is due in early 2018 on PS4, Xbox One and PC (a Switch version has not been announced but we hold out hope).
