The Division Underground guide: everything you need to smash today's PS4 DLC
The Division Underground opens doors on PS4 today. Let's get in there and conquer it.
The Division favours the Xbox massive with a console exclusivity window on new content, but that just means those of us on PS4 can benefit from the experience of those who went before.
Underground, the RPG's first major DLC pack, rolls out on PS4 today, and you'll want to get into as soon as possible. As well as raising The Division's maximum gear score and providing plenty of new gear to help you push the number up, there's a stack of new activities to test your build and your skills.
Let's start with a couple of biggies: the essentials you're most likely looking for if you're raring to dive right into The Division Underground.

The Division Underground: how to beat the Dragon’s Nest Incursion
The toughest new PvE challenge in The Division Underground, Dragon's Nest is a much more interesting Incursion than the first one. Interesting is such an ambiguous word, isn't it? Let's just say if you're Googling "how do I shut down this stupid fire engine oh my gosh" you are not alone.

What you need to know ahead of today’s big The Division update – even if you don’t grab the Underground DLC
It's easy to see the new content you've paid for, but there's so much more going on in this update than new gear, some sewer tunnels and an Incursion. Get a quick overview of what's different after installing The Division 1.3 - even if you don't grab Underground.

The Division Underground 1.3 balance changes and new systems
Once you remember what button does what, you may still find yourself confused if returning to The Division after a hiatus. Underground and the 1.3 update make a stack of balance changes to really shake up The Division's meta, and you'd do well to get a handle on them.
Of particular note are weapon recalibration, a range of new weapon talents to consider when rolling your gear, nerfs (oh no!) to Sentry and Striker, and a huge old weapon rebalance to smooth out some of the pits and valleys in The Division's weapon usage chart.
Take heed of these details and your transition from vanilla The Division agent to master of the Underground will be all the sweeter.
