The Division: Jake Gyllenhaal set to star in movie adaptation
Ubisoft is turning hit loot-shooter The Division into a movie and Jake Gyllenhaal is set to star.
That's according to a report by Variety, which claims the Source Code and Nightcrawler actor will also produce the movie. No writer is yet attached.
Gyllenhaal has previous form with Ubisoft having starred in the movie Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time, based on the now-dormant franchise.
The Division is Ubisoft's big hit of 2016, claiming to have just under 10 million registered players. It made a whopping $330 million in its launch week.
