You'll still have plenty to do in The Division after hitting the level cap

The Division hasn't been released yet, but that hasn't stopped the subject of endgame from popping up on occasion.

Speaking with Mashable, creative director Magnus Jansen said not all of the planned endgame content will be available at launch, as the team is planning on a slow roll out.

Since level 30 is the cap at present, once reached, the Dark Zone changes itself around.

"Once you hit level 30, the max level, we create a new instance of it, so players will be entering into this all new repopulated Dark Zone bascially," said Jansen. "There's also PvE endgame and goals and challenges. Things for you and your group to aspire to. Difficult things that you really want to set your sights on and accomplish."

Jansen said Ubisoft Massive has other content planned, but wouldn't be drawn in on specifics regarding future DLC or expansions.

"We're slowly going to be rolling [endgame] out for free in the beginning," he added. "We will sell more stuff for you to do in the game in the form of [DLC], but there won't be a pay-to-win or a pay-to-get-better-gear or pay-to-get-more-Dark-Zone-credit."

Cosmetic items, for example, will be available for purchase but Jansen reiterated there won't be any microtransactions in the game.

Earlier this week, it was suggested raids were coming to The Division at some point, due to various information culled from the beta and Ubisoft Massive livestreams. Arekkz speculated multi-group end game content, similar to raids, could be in the plan especially since one of the developers said “raid” during one of the livestreams.

Xbox Italy recently leaked information on a possible open beta scheduled for February 16, but Ubisoft has yet to announced another tester. Just in case, you can find some people to play with through The100.io’s Division LFG service.

The Division will be released on March 8 for PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
