The Division has produced a new trailer for E3 2014. Come see how New York has weathered the storm.
Ubisoft Massive producer Petter Mannerfelt came on stage to introduce the new trailer, which followed a new The Division footage from Microsoft’s E3 2014 conference.
Although Ubisoft conference host Aisha Tyler introduced it with a joke, making light of the segue from Just Dance, the trailer is quite serious and plays up the post-apocalyptic tone Ubi seems to be aiming for.
Of course, we end on a tone of hope - because your job, as the player, is to mobilise and start working to rebuild civilisation. Which is kind of cool.
The trailer was created by Blur, the animation studio behind cinematics for The Elder Scrolls Online.
