The Division dev inviting players to the studio to help fix the game

The Division developers are going to work with the community - literally - to make the next patch the best it can be.

The Division developer Massive announced yesterday a big change in the release schedule for the game's big 1.4 patch, as well as the two expansions in development.

A big part of the changes patch 1.4 is due to bring has been based on community feedback in the past few months. But developer Massive is taking this process a step further; by inviting members of the community to the studio in order to help shape the future of the game.

Massive revealed this initiative earlier today, and asked players available from September 7-9 to submit their details. You can even fill in this form now.

If you're selected, Massive will fly you out to Malmö, Sweden, and take care of accommodation and other expenses. You don't need to be some big YouTuber or streamer either, the developer noted that anyone is welcome to apply. Those who make it will be part of "critical workshops and discussions".

The anticipated patch is said to bring changes to loot - making it more relevant, improve the single-player experience, and more. Other key areas of gameplay such as the time to kill and enemy difficulty are also a big focus.

Patch 1.4 is due out sometime in October.
