The Descendant offers an episodic apocalypse next month
A gameplay trailer has dropped for The Descendant, an upcoming episodic adventure game set long after an extinction event has almost wiped out humankind.
In the world of The Descendant, only a few thousand humans are still alive, surviving in cryogenic freeze for centuries before being awoken to occupy the world anew.
You'll play as two characters, Mia and Donnie, across five episodes. There are promises of wider conspiracy theories, and the ability to choose who lives and dies with your actions, over on the game's Steam page.
Episode 1 is due on March 25, and only a PC version has been announced so far. Pricing has not been announced yet. Some new screenshots of the game are below.
