Comics publisher Top Cow is getting into the spirit of the upcoming sequel The Darkness II by releasing a prequel comic on Free Comic Book Day.
Big Download spotted the tie-in on the Free Comic Book Day website.
The comic serves as an introduction to the story of the first The Darkness game for fans who might have missed it, and also reinforces protagonist Jackie Estacado's origin story for new believers.
Head on down to your local (US) comic store on May 7 to take advantage of this neat little bonus.
Nathan saw the Darkness II at GDC and was rather impressed. The game releases on PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in northern autumn.
