The Darkness 2 is free on Humble

Hard on the heels of the F1 2015 promo, Humble is now offering free copies of The Darkness 2.

The Darkness 2 is the 2012 sequel to 2007's Starbreeze-developed shooter. Unlike the first game, the sequel was developed by Warframe makers Digital Extremes, and is well-regarded to this day for its noir visual style and solid shooting mechanics.

The Darkness 2's campaign can be played in co-op for up to four players, and it features other co-op focused modes where the different character abilities really shine.

The supernatural abilities each of them have, coupled with the game propensity for blood and gore makes for a really good comic book-style action out of a late 80s comic book.

The Darkness 2 can be yours for the low price of zero through the Humble Store. The offer is valid until tomorrow, and it gets you a Steam key for PC and Mac.

All you need to do is hit the link and add it to your cart. You should definitely do it, if only for the few hours-worth of co-op shenanigans it offers.
