The Binding of Isaac documentary celebrates two-year anniversary

Thought it barely seems like it, it's actually been over two years since Team Meat's Edmund McMillen released his solo rogue-like The Binding of Isaac. The indie cult favourite is perhaps too young to call a classic, but it sold strongly, received lavish critical praise and spawned a whole community of YouTube fans with its randomly-generated playthroughs and unforgiving difficulty. The documentary through the break comes from the team which made Indie Game: The Movie, and is a half hour look at the game's development and intended message.

The Binding of Isaac is on sale on Steam at 80% off, making it a measly $1. A remake called The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth with extra bells and whistles is coming to PlayStation 3, PS4 and Vita thanks to Nicalis.

Thanks, GameInformer.
