The Amazing Spider-Man 2 is out digital-only on Xbox One, retail version to arrive in May

Following the debacle from a couple of weeks ago regarding The Amazing Spider-Man 2, Activision has in fact released the game on the Xbox Games Store and issued a confirmation regarding the retail version.
It appears that the "collaboration with Microsoft" has yielded good results, as the game is now available for purchase on the Xbox Games Store, digital-only for the time being.
All other versions are available both digital and retail and Activision has confirmed that the Xbox One retail version will arrive in stores in early May.
