The $1 Million EA Sports Challenge Series returns with FIFA 13, Madden NFL 13 and NHL 13

The $1 Million EA Sports Challenge Series powered by Virgin Gaming is back, and you can win some cash by playing FIFA 13, Madden NFL 13 and NHL 13 on PS3.

Last year in NYC, Adam Winster was the FIFA 12 Challenge Champion, Tyler Glen was the Madden NFL 12 Challenge Champion and John Grasso was crowned the NHL 12 Challenge Champion. Each took home massive cash prizes and will be defending their titles in 2013.

This year, the tournament structure has been simplified a bit, and now it only takes six wins to secure a spot at the live tournament finals taking place in Las Vegas.

$400,000 will be handed out in the FIFA 13, Madden NFL 13, and NHL 13 challenges, and the Grand Prize winner in FIFA and Madden will take home a cool $140,000. The Grand Prize winner in with NHL 13 will walk away with $70,000. While it's less money, it's still not an amount to sneeze at by any means.

Even those who finish in 257th place to 512th place will walk away with $50 in Madden and FIFA.
