Tequila Works' first title Deadlight slated for XBLA this summer
Indie studio Tequila Works has announced its first title, a puzzle platformer called Deadlight, is to be published by Microsoft Studios and released exclusively on Xbox Live Arcade this summer.
The game takes place on the American west coast during 1986. The landscape is apocalyptic, as the population of the country has been decimated by some sort of epidemic. Having "no reason to exist", the main character Randall Wayne finds that when he enters the area, surviving becomes "much more than a daily routine."
Tequila Works, based in Madrid was founded in September 2009 by Raúl Rubio Munárriz and Luz Sancho Rodríguez, and the team comprises veterans from such titles as Commandos, Motorstorm, Castlevania: Lords of Shadow, Diablo III, Heavy Rain, and Overlord II.
