Tasty new screenshots for Hard Reset: Extended Edition

Back in September, this cyberpunk styled shooter took many of us by surprise on release. Whilst it did have the odd issue, like a short campaign length and limited visual style, these screenshots certainly show some promise.

As we reported back in December, The Flying Wild Hog haven't finished with their game just yet. The extended edition will feature an upgraded graphics engine, four new enemies, two new levels for survival mode, two additional hours of gameplay with the addition of five new levels, a new boss character, and additional gameplay elements such as a new back-story.

These first screenshots from Kalypso Media now provide a glimpse into that work, showing off their tweaked graphics engine, new locations, and even the occasional piece of vegetation.

Hard Reset is a first-person shooter for Microsoft Windows from The Flying Wild Hog, a Polish developer made up from members of the team behind Painkiller (People Can Fly), and former developers from CD Projekt Red and City Interactive. The extended edition is currently due for release in March 2012.

Thanks, Joystiq.
