Switch has sold over 2M units in the US, tops NPD hardware charts for third month in a row

Ahead of the NPDs, Nintendo announced Switch was the best-selling console for the third month in a row. It has also sold over 2 million units in the US.

In September, Switch was the top-selling console hardware for the third-month in a row, and the fifth time overall in the seven months since launch.

The consoles has now surpassed 2 million units sold in US alone alone. Expect the number of units sold once the holiday shopping season rolls around, as it wasn't available in store until after the season ended.

With Switch, 3DS and the Super NES Classic Edition combined, Nintendo systems made up two-thirds of September's total hardware sales.
