Amazon outs custom stage builder, Game Board mode for Super Smash Bros. Wii U

Amazon has pretty much confirmed two new modes to be included in the Wii U version of Super Smash Bros. which Nintendo has yet to announce.

According to the listing on the retail website, the description of the Board Game and stage creation modes reads: "Whether you're creating stages on the GamePad, competing in challenges crafted by Master Hand and Crazy Hand, or outwitting your opponents in a brand new board game mode, there's no doubt that the ultimate Smash Bros. game has arrived."

The product page also details the previously announced ability to use amiibos with the game.

Yesterday, two other modes were teased by game director Masahiro SakuraiTwo. We assume said modes not related to those mentioned above in the Amazon description.

While most of words from the image were blurred out, modes beginning with the words “Master" and "Cray" were shown.

Rumors from earlier in the moth also suggested unused audio files in the 3DS version pointed toward an 8-player mode for the brawler. Whether such an option still exists or was cut from the title, is unknown.

Super Smash Bros. Wii U releases in North America on November 21 and in Europe on December 5.

Thanks, Shack.
