Kirby Alternate Outfits in Super Smash Bros Ultimate
Kirby has alternate skins in the same way they had in previous games. There are minor variations on the standard Kirby look, many of which simply change the basic color scheme. Where Kirby differs from other characters though is in their ability to suck up other players. After doing so, Kirby will take on an element of that character’s appearance. For example, sucking up Mario will give Kirby a Mario Cap. Sucking up Peach will grant a tiara. There are a lot of different possibilities available, some of which you can see in the video embedded below.
Super Smash Bros Kirby Copy Ability
As mentioned previously, Kirby has the ability to suck up other characters and take on an aspect of their appearance. This is not all Kirby’s copy ability allows them to do, as they can also copy the abilities of other characters. For example, if Kirby inhales Inklings, they will gain some SPlatoon-based powers, namely the use of the Splattershot weapon. There are lots of different abilities which Kirby can copy, though we will have to play more of the game to know exactly how many.
Kirby Changes in Super Smash Bros Ultimate
Kirby has received a few changes since their last outing. Most of it is pretty minor, but the sum of everything does add up to what will be a noticeable difference in feel and play-style. Here are all of the changes to Kirby in Super Smash Bros Ultimate:
- Kirby can now inhale projectiles, and can either spit them out as a star, or swallow them to gain back a little bit of health.
- Down Smash has an increased range.
- Kirby is now faster in the air and dashes faster.
- Kirby’s animations have generally been updated to fall more in line with its appearance in Kirby’s Dream Land.
- Some Copy Ability Caps have been updated
Kirby Final Smash Special Attack in Super Smash Bros Ultimate
Kirby’s Final Smash has been largely unchanged for Super Smash Bros Ultimate. There are a few changes to the animation, but in general it’s exactly the same as it was in Super Smash Bros Wii U.
