Duck Hunt Smash Bros. Ultimate Moves Set and Final Smash
The bird and the dog come in one complete package in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, although they’re far from the only pair of fighters in the game. In the table below, you can find a complete moves list for the Duck Hunt duo in the game.

How to Unlock Duck Hunt in Super Smash Bros Ultimate
Unlike previous Smash games, fighters are unlocked in the same way for all, rather than character-specific challenges. This means that while it can be a bit of a grind, all you need to do is play the game naturally and you’ll eventually unlock all of the characters in Super Smash Bros Ultimate. We’ve listed the three ways you can unlock characters in Super Smash Bros Ultimate below:
- Playing the World of Light single-player mode.
- Completing Classic Mode with a character.
- Playing the ‘Challenger Approaches’ fights that appear regularly, you will need to win them.
The fastest method involves triggering the Challenger Fights by reloading the game regularly. We’ve listed the method below:
- Quit to the home screen and Restart the game.
- Create a match with a custom rule set.
- Make sure the match is 1 minute long, or 1 stock if you'd prefer.
- After finishing the match (you can win or lose) you will offered a new Challenger Fight.
- You'll need to win the Challenger fight
- Repeat.

Super Smash Bros Ultimate Duck Hunt Changes
There have been a number of changes made to Duck Hunt since SSB4. There are new animations, slight changes to Final Smash, and rebalancing of the moveset as a whole. We’ve listed all of the changes that we’ve noticed below:
- Several animations have been altered including jumpsquat, Neutral attack, Forward aerial, and Clay Shooting.
- Down smash deals more knockback.
- Wild Gunman deal more damage.
- Neutral attack is faster
Super Smash Bros Ultimate Duck Hunt Alternate Costumes
Duck Hunt comes with several Alternate Costumes for players to choose from. They each change the color of the dog and the duck. Here are all of the options:
- Black dog/green duck
- Brown dog/brown duck
- Light brown dog/black duck
- Dalmation/ orange duck
- Yellow dog/green duck
- Dark brown dog/ black duck
Super Smash Bros Ultimate Duck Hunt Final Smash
Duck Hunt uses NES Zapper Posse as its Final Smash. It involves summoning several characters from NES Zapper games. The shooter posse lines up and takes out opponents and then knocks them offscreen.
