Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Wii Fit Trainer Guide
Wii Fit Trainer last appeared in SSB4, and has been a cult hit ever since. There has been several changes since then though, as all characters have been rebalanced for Super Smash Bros Ultimate. We’ve listed all of the key info below.
Wii Fit Trainer Smash Bros. Ultimate Moves Set and Final Smash
Just when you thought Super Smash Bros. Ultimate couldn’t get any weirder, along comes the Wii Fit Trainer as a fighter. Just below, you can see a table featuring the entire moveset of the Wii Fit Trainer in the game.

How to Unlock Wii Fit Trainer in Super Smash Bros Ultimate
Unlike previous Smash games, fighters are unlocked in the same way for all, rather than character-specific challenges. This means that while it can be a bit of a grind, all you need to do is play the game naturally and you’ll eventually unlock all of the characters in Super Smash Bros Ultimate. We’ve listed the three ways you can unlock characters in Super Smash Bros Ultimate below:
- Playing the World of Light single-player mode.
- Completing Classic Mode with a character.
- Playing the ‘Challenger Approaches’ fights that appear regularly, you will need to win them.
The fastest method involves triggering the Challenger Fights by reloading the game regularly. We’ve listed the method below:
- Quit to the home screen and Restart the game.
- Create a match with a custom rule set.
- Make sure the match is 1 minute long, or 1 stock if you'd prefer.
- After finishing the match (you can win or lose) you will offered a new Challenger Fight.
- You'll need to win the Challenger fight
- Repeat.

Super Smash Bros Ultimate Wii Fit Trainer Changes
There have been some subtle changes to Wii Fit Trainer since they appeared last. This includes alterations to animations, moveset changes, and even some improvements to damage output and speed. We’ve listed all of the changes we’ve noticed below.
- Several animations have been tweaked including jumpsquat, header, Neutral Attack, and Wii Fit.
- Final Smash has been altered slightly, more on that later.
- Dash is faster.
- Faster in the air.
- The lens glare effect has been removed from Sun Salutation.
Super Smash Bros Ultimate Wii Fit Trainer Alternate Costumes
Just like the rest of the Super Smash Bros Ultimate roster, Wii Fit Trainer has some Alternate Costumes. These are color swaps in green, orange and yellow. Super Smash Bros Ultimate Wii Fit Trainer Final Smash
Wii Fit Trainer uses the same Final Smash as in SSB4 this time around. It’s called Wii Fit, and there have been a few minor visual changes. The move now has the potential to KO opponents.
