Super Mario Odyssey Cap Kingdom Moon Locations - All Secrets, Power Moon Walkthrough

The Super Mario Odyssey Cap Kingdom is the very first location that both Mario and Cappy find themselves in, after teaming up to take down Bowser together. You might not necessarily be able to collect all the Power Moons on your first tour of this initial area, but in this Super Mario Odyssey Cap Kingdom Power Moons guide, we'll direct you on how to collect all the Power Moons whenever you return to the starting area.

Super Mario Odyssey Cap Kingdom Power Moon Locations and Achievements

Here's a list of every Super Mario Odyssey Cap Kingdom Power Moon that we've managed to uncover so far. The list may be incomplete for now, but we'll be detailing exactly how to find every Power Moon we've come across at this point.

Cap Kingdom Power Moon 1. Frog-Jumping Above the Fog Power Moon

The very first Power Moon you can obtain in the Cap Kindom can be yours, simply by heading to the southern edge of the very starting area. You'll have to possess one of the frogs hanging around near the bridge, and then jump onto the platform just below.

From here, you'll have to carefully jump onto the first set of blocks, then position yourself in the middle block, and jump up to reveal a single hidden block above you. Now, you'll have to jump onto the single block from the set of three blocks, and jump up again to reach the Power Moon.

Cap Kingdom Power Moon 2. Frog-Jumping From the Top Deck Power Moon

For the second Power Moon in the Cap Kindom, all you have to do is head to the central plaza area where the two hat merchants are standing, and then jump onto the tallest building in the vacinity, while possessing a frog. Now just flick the joycons to perform an extra high jump, and you'll obtain another Power Moon.

Cap Kingdom Power Moon 3. Cap Kingdom Timer Challenge 1 Power Moon

This Power Moon is fairly simple - all you have to do is throw Cappy onto the scarecrow at the end of the bridge nearest the large tower, and then run as quickly as you can back up to the other end of the bridge, jumping up to catch the Power Moon before the timer expires.

Cap Kingdom Power Moon 4. Good Evening, Captain Toad Power Moon

To get this Power Moon, you'll have to return to the very top of the tower in the Cap Kingdom after having progressed to the next Kingdom. Simply spead to Captain Toad at the very pinnacle of the tower, and he'll hand over a Power Moon.

Cap Kingdom Power Moon 5. Shopping in Bonneton Power Moon

To get your hands on this Power Moon, all you need to do is talk to the yellow hat merchant in the Central Plaza area, and purchase the Cap Kingdom Power Moon for 150 coins.

Cap Kingdom Power Moon 6. Skimming the Poison Tide Power Moon

To start with, you'll need to head round the back of the large tower at the end of the Cap Kindom, which you can reach by possessing the flying Goomba at the beginning of the bridge, and pressing B repeatedly to fly yourself round the back of the tower.

Head inside the door that you come to round the back of the tower, and you'll be faced with another flying Goomba, which you should possess. Now, you'll have to navigate over the varying waves of poison to hit each ring with the Goomba, taking care not to let yourself be hit by any of the poison waves.

Make sure to hold off on pressing B to gradually descend to hit the lower rings, and press B rapidly to rise out of the reaches of the taller waves. Hit all five rings as the Goomba, and the Poison Tide Power Moon is yours.

Cap Kingdom Power Moon 7. Slipping Through the Poison Tide Power Moon

This Power Moon is in exactly the same location as the Skimming the Poison Tide one, except you'll have to pass under the platform at the end of the stage where you obtained the final piece of the Power Moon, timing it so you pass through the gap in the fence without being hit by the poison.

Now, you'll have to fly to the next platform with all the purple currency items on, turn around, head onto the lowest climbing block in Goomba form, and from there platform up to the highest level as Mario, in order to pick up the second Poison Tide Power Moon.

Cap Kingdom Power Moon 8. Push-Block Peril Power Moon

To obtain this Power Moon, you'll have to head through the inside of top-hat tower, and out onto the large balcony overlooking the rest of the Cap Kingdom. Now head round to the back of the balcony, where you'll find two push-blocks leading up to a door that Mario can open using Cappy. Once you've opened the door and find yourself in this new area, you'll have to make it all the way to the end of this perilous obstacle course to find the Power Moon.

Cap Kingdom Power Moon 9. Hidden Among the Push Blocks Power Moon

This is one of the most well-hidden Power Moons in the Cap Kingdom, and you'll definitely need to be ace at platforming to obtain it. In the push-block challenge section, once you've turned into electricity for the second time and are faced with the final section of blue platforms, check behind you once you've reached the second stable orange area, and you'll see the Power Moon hidden inside a blue platform.

Cap Kingdom Power Moon 10. Searching the Frog Pond Power Moon

For this challenging Power Moon, you'll need to head to the lower ledge on the northern side of the Central Plaza area, and drop down till you can open the door, pictured just below.

Once you're into this new challenge area, you'll have to find all the pieces of the Searching the Frog Pond Power Moon. The pieces aren't difficult to find, although we have highlighted the most hidden piece just below, obscured from view by the platforming blocks.

Cap Kingdom Power Moon 11. Secrets of the Frog Pond Power Moon

To obtain an additional Power Moon inside the Frog Pond, head to the north west corner of the room, and platform on blocks until you reach a moving white block running underneath a divider. At this point, you'll want to jump in frog form so you're on top of the divider with the white block running underneath you, and then jump up again so that you find yourself on the pathway, pictured just below.
