Super Mario Maker heads to 3DS this December
Nintendo 3DS owners will soon be able to get in on the course-creating fun.
During today's Nintendo Direct, the company announced Super Mario Maker would be released on 3DS in time for the holiday shopping extravaganza.
The game will allow players to create courses and it comes with early all the tools available in the original Wii U version.
Unique to the 3DS version is the ability for friends who each have their own game and system to collaborate on level designs. This is accomplished by sharing them with one another locally before complete.
Unlike the Wii U version of Super Mario Maker, courses can’t be shared online, but players can connect to the internet to download and play select courses from the console version.
The game will also come with 100 Nintendo-designed courses with new challenges.
Super Mario Maker 3DS will be released on December 2.
