Super Mario Galaxy 2.5 mod in the works

It's all about the fans today, and Super Mario Galaxy 2 has plenty of those, including the team behind Super Mario Galaxy 2.5 - a collection of custom levels and challenges designed to test the most hardcore platformer.
Although you can only take a gander at one level so far, a full-length game's worth is planned, and as the name suggests, should keep you happy until a third entry materialises.
You can find more info on the project's forums, although the answer to "when can we play it?" is less easily located.
