Street Fighter 5 gets new E3 2015 screenshots, V-Trigger details

Street Fighter 5 adds yet another gauge, and incidentally looks pretty shiny.

Street Fighter 5 will get its major reveal during E3 2015, but some details have arrived early thanks to the bounty of print media.

Pulling data from the latest issue of ShortList, Gematsu reports Street Fighter 5 includes a new V-Guage which fills as you take damage.

Once the gauge is full you can utilise the V-Trigger move. Examples include Chun Li's attacks powering up, and Nash using short-range teleports for surprise attacks.

There's a defensive move called V-Skill too, which I assume is also related to the V-Gauge. Ryu's allows him to parry projectiles, while M. Bison actually reflects projectiles back at their owner.

The report also mentions something called Critical Arts - multi-hit attacks that unlock when you dish out enough damage to fill the EX Gauge.

Finally, there's a new stage called King’s Cross Station. It looks like this might a UK level, since the description mentions "Queen's Guard soldiers".

The magazine's report included a March 2016 release date for the PC and PS4 fighter.

If you really want a look at Capcom's latest, tune into the E3 2015 Street Fighter 5 tournament livestreams.

For regular old still images, the gallery below was posted on Imgur and labelled "pre E3 2015". I don't think all of the images are new, but most seem pretty fresh.

Thanks, Gematsu.
