Steam has been updated bringing several cool features out of beta and into full release.

The latest Steam client update is now available, and it officially launches Steam Broadcasting.

Similar to Twitch and Ustream, Steam Broadcasting lets you livestream your games to friends. Its integration right into the Steam client allows Valve to offer native support, and you don't need to sign up for another login to use it. Kind of cool.

The update also brings the FPS counter out of beta, again meaning you don't have to rely on third-party tools like FRAPS.

It also fixes a number of bugs, including for Big Picture and the Linux client. See the full details on Steam.
