State of Decay contractor pulls a d**k move
State of Decay is secretly full of great big tonkers. I'm not kidding.
Undead Labs hired a contractor to provide some textures for State of Decay, and said contractor did something rated A+ in both the "hilarious" and "extremely unprofessional" categories.
“Some of our contractors worked a ridiculous amount of genitalia into the background,” Undead Labs senior designer Geoffrey Card told XBLA Fans at PAX East this weekend.
The wieners remained undiscovered as the texture in question is displayed at too low a resolution in the original Xbox 360 version of the open world zombie survival sandbox.
By the time Undead Labs caught on to the hidden features in the texture, it was too late - the peckers were already out there.
The developer replaced the pricks with something less controversial for subsequent releases, and so you can't actually see cocks in any publicly available build.
Publisher Microsoft seems less amused about this plethora of baloney ponies as us:
"Undead Labs is no longer working with the contractor in question, and this material will not be present in State of Decay: Year-One Survival Edition," a representative told GameInformer.
Pity. State of Decay: Year-One Survival Edition arrives on Xbox One at the end of April, bundling all DLC along with the 1080p makeover, but containing zero one eyed monsters.
