Stardew Valley mod is hardcore
Stardew Valley mod turns the game into a hardcore sim.
Hardew Valley is the perfect name for this Stardew Valley mod, which aims to make players' lives miserable. As the name suggests, the mod ramps up the game's difficulty by tweaking a number of parameters to make it much more challenging.
More specifically, the mod significantly cuts down on the income players get by selling stuff. This includes everything from animal products, to fruit and vegetables and even artefacts found in dungeons. It also increases crafting requirements, including those needed for Robin's projects.
The only thing that gets a boost is your weapon damage, but immunity bonuses on boots have been reduced. Hardew Valley's creator Juanpa98ar said they wanted "a more difficult and realistic experience," and challenges players to get to the end of the game with a pig farm.
