StarCraft II to support 3D in post-release patch
StarCraft II's production director, Chris Sigaty, has said Blizzard plans to patch features into the game once released, including 3D support.
Speaking with IGN during an demonstration in Seoul, Sigaty also said that the game will not support anti-aliasing out of the box, it could get a patch for it in the future.
"We will be releasing 3D in the first few months, for those Nvidia cards and screens that support it," he said. "We're optimizing for all systems."
Sigaty made no promises on anti-aliasing at the onset, but stated that Blizzard plans to add graphical upgrades to the game as technology advances, just as it did with StarCraft I.
SCII is out worldwide on July 27.
