StarCraft II submitted for review in China
According to a GP report, StarCraft II has been submitted for review for China by NetEase, operator of World of Warcraft in the country.
The mention is made in a note by Cowen Group analyst Doug Creutz.
Creutz mentions that a 2011 release might be on the cards.
"Although the timing of governmental approval is (as always) uncertain, we believe the submission likely means a launch of 'Starcraft II' sometime in 2011," he said.
He further mentions that a release would be "welcome news" for NetEase, as it can be the company's "next clear growth catalyst."
NE runs World of Warcraft in the country as well, but has gone through noteable troubles to keep the MMO running, as well as release its susbequent expansions.
