You won't have much to start with, but you’ll soon have access to a whole host of abilities, including Force push, pull, and a Jedi Flip. The Jedi Flip is essentially a suped-up double jump, allowing you to reach high platforms and clear wider gaps. Read on to find out how to unlock the double jump in Jedi Fallen Order.
How to Unlock Double Jump in Jedi Fallen Order
You’ll unlock Jedi Flip (double jump) at a certain point in Fallen Order’s story. You’ll need to get to the segment where Cal makes his second visit to Kashyyyk. This is just after you get your Force pull ability back, when you're tasked with climbing the Origin Tree. Around halfway up, you can use the glowing green plants to bounce upwards. It’s this bouncing that triggers a flashback in Cal, one which culminates in him remembering how to double jump. From this point on, you can double jump as much as you want, as it doesn’t cost any Force meter to do so.
How to Double Jump
Once you’ve unlocked the Jedi Flip, using it is super easy. All you need to do is press A/X to jump and then press it again in mid-air to jump for a second time. This can be used to climb higher while wallrunning, and to clear larger gaps.
What is the Double Jump Ability Used For
The double jump is used primarily for platforming. You’ll be lucky to find any use for it in combat, other than to escape to a higher platform. There are certain areas of the game that you’ll need double jump to access. Some examples include the crashed Venator, the top of the Origin Tree, the higher areas of the ice caves, and more.
