Star Wars Battlefront will be playable "first on Xbox One"
Star Wars Battlefront will probably be made available early through EA Access.
Star Wars Battlefront is going to be one of the jewels in EA's crown this year, so it's not much of a stretch to expect the publisher will allow fans an early start via its EA Access program.
We've had no official confirmation of this from EA, but in response to a question about Star Wars Battlefront on Twitter, Xbox marketing lead Aaron Greenberg said that Xbox One owners will be able to "play it first".
EA Access is a premium subscription service exclusive to Xbox One which provides an all you can eat games service for a select catalogue of games called the Vault, as well as beta and early access. Something to think about if you're such a hardcore Star Wars fan you can't bear the thought other people playing before you can.
The first Star Wars Battlefront gameplay footage will release this week, and DICE expects it to break the Internet with its glory.
Thanks, MP1st.
