Star Wars: Battlefront 2 mods let you play as pink Darth Vader, Matt the radar technician from that SNL skit

Canon or not, the Star Wars: Battlefront 2 community on PC has been doing some great work to spice up the looks of our favourite heroes.

Star Wars: Battlefront 2 may have a very limited selection of customisation options, but that doesn't mean you can't add any yourself.

There are several mods already available that do simple things like model and character swaps, mostly for a bit of fun without having an effect on gameplay. The first and most hilarious one is the Darth Vader in Pink mod. Created by Destauch, the mod does exactly what you think: it replaces the all-black suit with an all-pink one.

The pink Darth Vader idea may seen random, but it's actually a response to EA CFO Blake Jorgensen's comment about the company being limited in the cosmetics options it could have in a Star Wars game without violating the canon. Jorgensen specifically said that you can't have a pink Darth Vader, and, well.

You can download the mod at Nexus Mods, though you're going to need Frosty Mod Manager. While you're there, you can also check out Destauch's all-white Vader mod.

The next mod is a bit more complex, replacing Kylo Ren's default character model with that of Matt, the radar technician. If you're unfamiliar, Matt is a character in SNL's Undercover Boss parody skit in which Kylo Ren pretends to be a radar technician at Starkiller Base to learn what his Stormtroopers think of him.

The mod is created by GameTSF, and you can grab it too from Nexus Modss. It even replaces some of the textures on Star Cards to match Matt's dorky look.

The mod sadly doesn't add the voice lines, but it's still pretty funny.
