Star Wars Battlefront 2 gameplay video leaked ahead of schedule
With all of the leaks dropping in advance of E3, perhaps the biggest is a sponsored gameplay video of Star Wars Battlefront 2.
Update 2:
Annnnnd it's back. For now. It too will eventually get pulled, so here's the Vimeo version.
Update: As expected, the video has been removed by EA. The official version will likely become available sometime after the conference.
If you wanted to watch a Star Wars Battlefront 2 gameplay video ahead of its E3 conference, you'd best watch it now before it's pulled. It seems Electronic Arts had arranged a sponsored video with a YouTuber, who attempted to upload everything in advance but accidentally published it. While the video was quickly pulled, it was too late, and now the footage was be reuploaded for others to comment on.
The video itself follows three of Battlefront 2's hero characters - Darth Maul, Rey, and Boba Fett - as they fight their way across opposing armies. Outside of the instinctive fanboy reaction of "How would these characters ever fight each other?" the combat looks solid with a strong range of abilities for each hero. And it's certainly a great feeling to see Boba Fett's jetpack in action again.
We'll be able to share more Star Wars Battlefront 2 details directly when EA's conference starts later today.
