STALKER 2 in-engine teaser offers first look at the Zone
STALKER 2 has reemerged with a new trailer giving us a first look at its world.
Following on from last year's debut trailer, STALKER 2 developer GSC Gameworld has released another in-engine look at the Zone, the game's irradiated world.
The trailer is presented entirely in first-person, chronicling one STALKER's trip across the Zone. His name is Skif, and the press release hints at him being the game's main protagonist, but doesn't offer any details besides. We also get a first look at the in-game PDA, which managed everything from inventory to quest log and lore in the other STALKER games.
As impressive as they are, it's worth keeping in mind that the game's trailers so far have been target renders, which is another way of saying the game will not look like that when we do play it. As for when that might be, this new trailer also doesn't hint at any release targets.
STALKER 2 is in development for PC and Xbox Series X/S.
