Square has banner year with profits up 50% to $102.8M
Even though you've already heard all the juicy Final Fantasy stuff that came out of Square Enix's financial call to investors today, there's more to it than pretty people playing with swords and magic.
Because we are sick and twisted folks who think math is fun and love forcing that philosophy on you, we think you should also know how well the firm did during its last fiscal year.
Apparently, it did rather freaking well, thanks to six titles selling over a million units and raising sales by 42 percent to $2.07B with Square games moving over 26.66 million units globally.
Profits were also up 50 percent to $102.
Not bad at all.
