Spider-Man won't need a Neo to look at slick as the trailer.
Spider-Man's E3 trailer was running on a current PS4
That Spider-Man E3 reveal looked sweet, didn't it? Well, Insomniac Games has some good news for you: Its trailer was recorded using real-time, in-engine footage from your typical PlayStation 4. And I'm talking about the current model, not the upgraded Neo that Sony is still keeping under wraps.
At least, that's the word from Insomniac's Twitter page when responding to questions about the trailer. Insomniac's footage shows Spider-Man swinging through the city, diving through jam-packed restaurants, and wrestling villains across moving vehicles with gorgeous textures and effects we thought Watch Dogs would have on PS4.
While we should wait on the finished product to be sure, it's certainly an appealing prospect for players - especially if the gameplay harkens to beloved open-world Spider-Man games of old. Spider-Man will swing exclusively onto PlayStation 4 on an unannounced date.
