Space Quest creators team up for new Spaceventure

The adventure renaissance is luring the genre's talent back to its roots; Space Quest creators Mark Crowe and Scott Murphy are back in the saddle for a new Spaceventure.

Two Guys From Andromeda, as the pair is known, has launched a new website announcing their return to sci fi adventure game development.

The pair have been on a "brief 25+ year hiatus" from development but are now "ludicrously psyched" to be back together on a new game.

Details of the project are slim, but Crowe and Murphy promise not to stray from the successful formula of their past games.

"The way games are made and gotten into a player’s home has changed greatly, and you have never stopped talking about the adventure game genre and how much you’ve missed it," the developer noted.

"We are adapting to the changes, taking advantage of them and charting our own course through space and looking forward to finding that ‘new game smell'".

Two Guys From Andromeda is looking to hire more guys and gals, including holding auditions for a narrator. Hit the link above to visit the website and learn more.

The Space Quest series is one of Sierra's best loved properties, and spawned six core games between 1986 and 1995.
