Sony financials: 9.24 million PS3s sold in FY 07, PS2 business slows

According to just-released full-year financials, Sony's confirmed that 9.24 million PS3s were sold in the year ending March 31, compared to 3.57 in the previous period.
The upswing of PS3 sales was met by the gradual decline of the firm's PS2 business, with 13.73 last gen machines being sold in the past 12 months as opposed to 14.91 consoles the year earlier.
