Sony CFO: No plan to drop PS3 price

It's not happening. It's so not happening. Speaking to Smart Money, Sony CFO Nobuyuki Oneda has said pretty clearly that there really are no plans to drop PS3's price any time soon.
"Our strategy is not to sell more quantity for PS3 but to concentrate on profitability," he said, speaking to investors at a Nomura Asia Equity forum in Singapore. "Our plan is not to reduce the price."
So there you are.
