Sonic Boom making of documentary includes first gameplay footage

Sega has released a ten minute making of documentary for new transmedia endeavour Sonic Boom, granting us our first look at the hedgehog's latest adventure.
Sonic Boom is a Wii U game developed by Big Red Button Entertainment, with the 3DS version in the works at Sanzaru. Both are intended for western audiences; Sonic Boom won't be coming to Japan, but Sonic Team is working on its own game.
As well as the two games, which are due this year, Sonic Boom will spawn a TV series, toys and other merchandise. The new look for our heroes has inspired a mixed reception among fans.
