Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed patch fix inbound
Sonic & All-Stars Racing developer Sumo Digital is aware of issues introduced in an early patch for the Wii U release, and is already working on a solution alongside fixes for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versons.
"We're looking into the Wii U Boost Challenge and Ninja Tag issue (and any other non-race game mode). To cut a long story short there was a problem with the update which went live on Sunday - and we're working to get it sorted ASAP," a Sumo Digital staffer wrote on the Sonic Stadium forum.
The staffer said a patch is available for the Xbox 360 version which addresses some Achievements issues, while a PlayStation 3 update is expected "any day now".
Sumo said the problems were only found after the completed game had already been submitted.
"Bear in mind we rely on SEGA QA to report glitches and issues as our own internal QA consists of a couple of people who check into issues raised by them," the staffer said.
"In the meantime, apologies some glitches made it into the final game. We are monitoring threads on all forums and discussing issues as they arise with SEGA."
Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed released on the Wii U on launch day, November 18, but hit PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in Europe on November 16 before sim-shipping in the US on all HD platforms. 3DS and Vita versions are due in December.
Thanks, GoNintendo.
