Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed finally pit stops in Japan
Remember 2012? It was when Sega's mascot-ridden cart racer Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed released everywhere. Everywhere except for in Japan. Nearly 2 years later, it's finally arriving in the East.
May 15 is the date that Japan will get its hands on Sumo Digital's really rather good racer/flyer/boater. There will be a few changes for the Japanese version. Danica Patrick is gone, and it'll only be arriving on PlayStation 3 and Wii U. Wreck-It Ralph, the Disney video game-homage cameo character, will still be present in the line-up.
With Mario Kart 8 on the horizon it seems a strange time for such a belated release. Let's assume that Sega knows what it's doing...
Thanks, Siliconera.
