Sniper: Ghost Warrior 2 dismemberment DLC canned

City Interactive has canceled the DLC for Sniper: Ghost Warrior 2 which would have featured limb dismemberment.
The feature was removed last year in order for the game to be greenlighted for retail in Germany, and the firm said it would be put back into the game as free DLC after release.
"I can confirm that CI Games are no longer going to be releasing the dismemberment DLC," a representative for the firm told VideoGamer.
A reason wasn't provided, but if one if given we will provide you with an update.
Sniper: Ghost Warrior 2 is out now on PC, PS3 and Xbox 360.
