SMITE trailer hypes for million dollar tourney, Xbox One beta sign-ups open

Will SMITE be the console MOBA to finally make console MOBAs happen? Maybe.
SMITE is coming to Xbox One in the first half of 2015, but it's already pretty successful on PC with over 4 million players as of July last year.
In fact, the MOBA is so successful that it's hosting a $1 million championship tournament this weekend.
(Update: Hi-Rez wrote in to let us know that thanks to sales of digital passes the total prize pool is now well over $2.5 million and increasing all the time.)
From the makers of Tribes: Ascend, Smite is a mythologically-inspired MOBA which, as the new trailer below demonstrates, makes quite a lot of its source material.
