Here's the entire Smash Ultimate roster wearing face masks
If you're keen to know what every fighter on the Smash Ultimate roster could potentially look like with their very own face masks, well now you know.
An artist named Gleed recently shared their latest project on Twitter, which involves photoshopping face masks onto every single playable fighter in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. Even Pokemon like Lucario and Incineroar are wearing masks. Check it out below.
"Bored, so I photoshopped masks onto all the Smash Ultimate characters," wrote Gleed. They also linked to an Imgur album featuring all of the photoshopped images. My favourites are probably Joker and Link, although I also reckon seeing Samus wear a mask over her helmet is very cool.
Somebody actually asked Gleed why they bothered putting a mask on Samus, which Gleed answered in a follow-up tweet.
"My question is why did you put masks on characters with helmets like Samus, Metaknight, and Olimar?" asked a Reddit user. "Hell, R.O.B. is a robot."
"So they can get into Costco," replied Gleed.
In other things Smash, shortly after it was revealed that the new Smash Ultimate fighter would be an ARMS character, it was confirmed that Min Min was coming to the game as a playable fighter.
In related news, the Nintendo Switch is back in stock, and more units will be made available soon. If you're planning on picking one up, you can get a 200GB Switch SD card for under $25, which is very convenient if you're the type to bounce between multiple games simultaneously.
Meanwhile, Nintendo recently condemned alleged abuse in the Super Smash Bros. community “We are deeply disturbed by the allegations raised against certain members of the competitive gaming community," Nintendo told the BBC. "They are absolutely impermissible.”
“We want to make it clear that we condemn all acts of violence, harassment, and exploitation against anyone and that we stand with the victims.”
