Smash Bros. Wii U & 3DS screens show giant Metroid looming over Animal Crossing

Super Smash Bros. Wii U and 3DS has received pair of new screens showing a giant Metroid hovering over the Animal Crossing village, while a group of fighters look on from afar.
The timing is ideal too, as the Super Smash Bros. Nintendo Direct is kicking off today. Hit the link for times and details.
The screens were posted on MiiVerse by producer Masahiro Sakurai himself, along with his message, “An insatiable, unidentified extraterrestrial is targeting a certain peaceful town…!”
Sounds like some shite's about to go down.
