Sleeping Dogs Year of the Snake DLC announced by Square

Square has announced Sleeping Dogs will be getting the Year of the Snake DLC "soon".

The announcement comes a couple of days after the DLC was leaked early online.

In the DLC, Wei Shen re-joins the Hong Kong Police Department for a series of new missions set after the main game. Apparently, The Cult of the Snake, a "vicious end-of-the-world cult", is taking root in the back streets of Hong Kong. It's main purpose is to "cleanse the city of its evils," through righteous salvation.

Wei will also be able to make use of new teargas guns and electroshock pistols, and he will sport outfits and abilities.

Other content coming soon to the United Front actioner includes the Wheels of Fury and Law Enforcer packs.

The Year of the Black Water Snake, according to the Chinese zodiac, begins on February 10 shortly after the New moon in Aquarius, so we predict the DLC will land during that week.

Don't quote us on it, though.
