Using the power of mods, you can get Skyrim's look to resemble that of Dark Souls.
Skyrim is a pretty malleable game, if you're willing to mess with some mods. If you like Dark Souls but can't deal with its unforgiving difficulty, a few mods can make the world of Skyrim and your character look as if they were part of a Dark Souls game.
For instance, you can use this this mod to bring bonfires into the game, or this one to add the elite knight armour.
