Skype job listing mentions "next generation of Xbox"

A new job listing for Skype has given the clearest suggestion yet the Microsoft-owned VOIP program will make its way into the next-gen Xbox.

This isn't the first time Skype and Xbox have been mentioned in the same listing since the former was bought for $8.5 billion last May.

The post for a lead program manager in the UK makes note that the applicant needs to be "focused on enabling amazing new in-game and in-console voice and video experiences for the next generation of Xbox".

It's not mentioned if the service will come to 360 hardware, but the listing does say the position is "time-critical given the hardware lead times involved."

At gamescom last year, Xbox Live EMEA boss Robin Burrowes - now at Apple - told VG247 the program wouldn't come to 360 in the "near future".
