Skylanders promo asks fans to name new characters

Activision has teamed up with snack manufacturer Frito-Lay to offer another of its annual Skylanders promotions.
This year, North American fans can vote on which of three proposed figures should be included in an upcoming release, and suggest a name for the creature.
Entries are open until March 21, after which fans will be asked to vote on which suggestion is best, from three choices.
Whoever comes up with the name selected for use in-game will win a $100,000 scholarship.
It's not clear if the new figure will be for Skylanders: Swap Force, which is enjoying a staggered release schedule, or for the as-yet untitled new next-gen entry from series creator Toys for Bob.
